Principal's Message

As Principal of St. Lawrence it is a pleasure to welcome all staff, students and their families to St. Lawrence Catholic Elementary School. I am so pleased to join this community.
The mission of Catholic Education in Hamilton-Wentworth, in union with our Bishop, is to " enable all learners to realize the fullness of humanity in which our Lord Jesus Christ is the model."
Our Catholic school community is blessed to be in close proximity to a parish. We have a very active parish school partnership with Father Peter and Mr. Jolie at St. Lawrence Parish. They offer a strong support to our faith commitment and sacramental programs. I look forward to working alongside our parish team and our Catholic School Council to grow and foster the home/school/parish partnership. 

Along with our dedicated educators, I look to help our students grow in faith, in knowledge and work toward meeting the Catholic Graduate Expectations.  Fostering an environment of respect and learning is the goal.  I look forward to working with this vibrant community to provide opportunities for our students to grow in many ways during their time at St. Lawrence.
